Many of the local bars arrange golf in Ban Chang, golf events and days out including three of the Ban Chang Bars Society members bars as follows :-
The 19th Hole – located right opposite the Phala Road entrance to the Eastern Star golf course. Not only is it a great place for bite to eat and a few beers after your round but they arrange golf days at Eastern Star also. They also have discount prices to play this course.
Faces bar – Faces is a smaller bar but has a strong golfing fraternity. The owner, Mark, is in the bar every night and is always happy to have a chat about the best places to play and to arrange a group if required. Golf is often featured on the two large TV screens so if there is a major tournament on it is well worth popping in to watch.
The Camel pub and guesthouse – the largest bar on the strip. Again a strong golfing customer base. It opens for breakfast at 07.00 am so you can have a good breakfast before your endeavors on one of the local courses. They also offer accommodation and the use of a mini bus if you are in a larger group playing for a few days.
